How long recordings are kept depends on the storage in your system. Longer local recording (14 or 30 days) does not change the plan price; it needs enough recording storage.

Monthly plan vs one-time purchases
Your camera plan is a monthly subscription. Separately, you buy one of these once, not every month:
Your own Ubuntu PC: a one-time AnyAiCam VMS software license by camera count: up to 8 cameras $24.99, up to 16 cameras $37.49, up to 32 cameras $62.49, up to 64 cameras $99.99.
An AnyAiCam appliance: Starter $1,249.99, Professional $1,749.99 or Enterprise $2,249.99, one-time (Residential $949.99 is coming soon), with AnyAiCam installed and the license included. AAC Face Access on the Enterprise appliance is licensed separately and is coming soon.

Common Questions
What if a camera fails or I replace it?
Your camera license is not tied to one camera. A replacement camera takes over the license after you authorize it in AnyAiCam.
Is a license tied to a camera's IP address?
No. Changing a camera's IP address does not use up or lose a license.
Do I still pay for a camera while it is offline?
Yes. A licensed camera stays part of your plan while it is offline. To stop paying for it, lower your number of licensed cameras in My subscription.
How do I reduce the number of licensed cameras?
Change your camera count in My subscription. Decreases take effect at your next renewal; increases take effect after payment.
Is the one-time software license the same as the monthly plan?
No. The monthly plan sets your features for every licensed camera. The one-time AnyAiCam VMS software license is only for running AnyAiCam on your own Ubuntu PC; it is included with every AnyAiCam appliance.
